The New Website is live!

I'm not having problems with it. I would suggest to clear your browser history/cookies, reboot your laptop/desktop, look at firewall settings to see if any of it will change it. :D:D:D
Okay, I did this just now. It's better, but only marginally. While a few links open within 3 seconds or so, the time between clicking on most links and the new windows opening now varies from 7 to 27 seconds. I love the way it LOOKS, but, frankly, this is the slowest website I've seen in a very long time. Also, the broken links and incorrect info that I and others have mentioned have not been fixed. Oh, and I just noticed that the website says the Stormy Daniels Wicked doll is 5' 17" tall, but now I'm just being a mean old writer-editor!

Believe it or not, I really hope these issues get resolved and don't just fester.

I have ordered a repair kit from the new site with no problem. However, I have had an issue with putting together a hypothetical order for an extra Quinn magnetic face. It keeps kicking me back to the "head kit" selection option no matter what I select. It is just a hypothetical order at this point so no biggie... Who am I kidding? I will be placing it within the week. I am hopelessly addicted, in a good way, at this point.

Clearing the caches of the browsers i used to test did not help, also disabling all ad-blockers and such did not help.
Just now tested it on my Win10 bootcamp install in Edge, i get the same slowlyness. this Win10 install in never use it there only for testing.

I must say that the site is a litte bit faster than last night, Chrome and Safari now get the "Build your own" page in about 15 seconds.
Also tried it with a VPN (Vyprvpn) connected to a server in Washington, made no difference for me.

Wow, a mystery. I'm on the site right now and it's lighting fast for me o_O but I'm running on a MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM.

The speed is better tonight, but it still takes 11 seconds to open the Extras window as an example. Does 11 seconds for Google Chrome and Safari seem normal and acceptable to any other CRD users?

Also, several people have said they could look up their old orders. When I try that it indicates None - including for the two I placed last week!

Maybe it's personal... maybe Harmony is mad at me for some reason.

Stunning photos. The dolls look more realistic and alive than most of the photos on this site.

If I may make a couple of suggestions:

1. When you note a “standard configuration”, could you describe exactly what that means?
2. Are you planning any user-chosen option displays? For example: displaying a body, choosing a skin tone, and the image shows that choice?
3. Are the “3.0” versions the only ones with the Harmony 3.0 AI enhanced, mobile faces and connection to the on-line personality?
4. Outside of the aesthetics, what is the difference between “standard” dolls and “wicked” ones?

I’m glad there are multiple ethnicities represented.

The website is tasty, but it’s the dolls themselves that are the mouth-dropping works of art.

The Realbotix head can be purchased separately or with a body. Some bodies will "look" aesthetically better with any given head due to the different head sizes (RD2/BT/WRD/RBX).

Wicked Real Dolls are simply mold of seven famous porn actresses - same tech as RD2, same customization options. Mix & match heads/bodies to your hearts desire.

Abyss fulfills dreams - dream big.

Ok, I agree the 'build your own' pages are slower to load than the pre-configured ones, but not too bad considering there is software loading and parsing, as well as background data options that are needed for user selection.

Once loaded though... how did Catherine put it? Fucking amazing! I ordered about 3 weeks ago on the old site, and still have multiple issues that need ironing out, none of which would have occurred if I was ordering today.

It's really fucking amazing, moreso on a desktop, but still fucking amazing on (WiFi) mobile! Thank you so much for this valuable upgrade, it will save customers and staff a lot of stress and extraneous communication hassle.

This needs editing:

Gel Implants
Body D and E are equipped with gel implants in the buttocks for an ultra realistic feel. This comes at the expense of a little more weight; By special request, we CAN omit the gels from the buttocks, and replace the areas with foam, thereby making it the same as older generation dolls.

I believe A & F and the entire Petite line also have the gel buttocks.

The body A silhouette notes don't mention the gel buttocks.

Also I believe the BT 3 & 4 body silhouettes are swapped.

There is a lot that has to be changed on the site, but in any rollout this has to be expected:cool:
True, but we need to let Abyss know about all these glitches. When I find them I email them to Catherine. I don't expect replies, just that she forward them to Abyss' contracted web developers.

While I've told Catherine some via the new chat mechanism, I've also just posted some out here. I feel like the public posting allows further confirmation that it is a defect, and not a design decision.

Example... until last night I thought that the small rectangular blocks that say MAGNETIC FACE, FULL HEAD, WICKED REALDOLL were buttons which would filter the shown faces to only those selected.... then it clicked that the dots on the faces might be color tied to the rectangles and they're not buttons at all, but just a color chart. If this is the case, then it is a bad set of colors... for colorblind folks like me. I see two colors, not sure if anyone can confirm... Full head and Wicked RealDoll look the same to me, and a maybe light purple or something for magnetic faces which is still hard to differentiate. So, depending on what is supposed to happen the solution would be to fix the buttons or choose a better color set, or both.

Your second conclusion is correct. The rectangles are color charts that match the dots on the faces. FYI - The "Magnetic Face" rectangle and dots are light purple. The other two rectangles are white, but beyond that it gets squirrelly. The type face in the block for "Full Head" is black but the dots are white; and the type face and the dots for "Wicked Realdoll" are red.

Truth be told, even for those of us who aren't color blind, it would have been far better to simply arrange the heads in three groups labeled "Magnetic Face," "Full Head" and"Wicked Realdoll" and call it good. Sometimes any of us can overthink things and get cleverer than makes sense; that's what seems to have happened on this web site display!

I couldn't build a custom doll on either old/new website using the interface. I had to call Abyss and decided to just settle on a pre-configured one. I spent many many hours trying and just figured I was just artistically challenged. My visual memory has never been good so holding all the options in my head didn't work. Taking notes requires one to be able to visually interpret and assembled it in your head. For those of us with below average spatial relations that can't happen.

Many video games these days have toon builders in them. You change hair, head, sex, face, all that in one screen. I would love to see Abyss have something like that a customer could download. But, how you get that done? I do not know.
